Are you stuck with Error 3194 while connecting with iTunes? This is a common age-old problem with iTunes while connecting with iPhone, iPad or iPod. Most iOS users usually encounter this error once in 1000 times at least. Let us see what this error is and how to fix this error.
What is the reason for iTunes Error 3194?
This error is usually triggered after you have restored/upgraded your iOS version on iPhone, iPad or iPod. Under most cases it was found to be a Jailbroken firmware which is incompatible with the digital certificate authentication of the Apple servers. Since the Jailbreak versions are not digitally signed the Apple firmware fails to recognize the device and hence shows this error.
iTunes Error 3194 while downgrading/upgrading
Many Apple users prefer to use a Jail-broken firmware for their iDevice mostly iPhone and iPad. But many of them decide to roll back to the original iOS version after they encounter errors or bugs in such versions. So, when they try to restore the device firmware to custom iOS 4.3.3 (which is quite stable and more preferable), the connecting iTunes software is unable to verify the signature of the Jailbroken version. iPhone users should check this link on how to Fix iTunes Error 3194 in iPhone specifically explained for them.
